So I’m super ill today 😩 so please bare with me, today’s blog is about the hydro hydrating face mask I received from this months glossy box uk.
What I firstly love about this mask is that it comes in two halves, this is because it fits better to my face, I’ve had many other similar masks before that are whole and don’t contour my face well, but this one made it easier.
It’s what only can be slimey when it comes out of the packaging (I guess it’s all the hydrating properties🙊). You peal off both sides of the mask and place on your face, it nice a soothing and cool when first applied.
PLEASE EXCUSE THE MICHAEL MYERS FACE!! But this is the mask on my face. I wore it when in the bath as its where I like to relax, I left it on for about 20/30 mins (not too sure how long you are meant to leave it on for🙈) but that’s what I felt comfortable with.
When I took it off I massaged the remainder of the product into my face which it drank up because I have super dry skin! After my face felt soooo hydrated and smooth.
My only issue is the claim of 120 hours of hydration. I don’t know if this is because I have super dry skin but it only worked for a day maybe two at a push, this may work differently for you.
I am a face mask addict and my view on this mask is if you have super dry skin like me I’d recomend trying others but if you have combination skin this would be great for you! 👌🏼 however at £7.99 a go I think there are cheaper alternatives which I’ve listed bellow.
Any Lush face mask: around £7
I love oatifix or rosy cheeks, discuss with a employees to choose the best for you. (However as they are fresh they only last around 21 days)
As I suffer with blackhead this is by far the best thing ever!! Only issue is its not hydrating but for £2 for 10 you can buy a great moisturiser to apply after.
Boots tea tree and Witch hazel mask: 99psingle or £2.99 a bottle
Montagne Jeunesse Peel & Mud Face masks around 99p or 5 for £2
Anyways hope this helps! 🙊
